Bar Bender (Steel Fixer)
Hyderabad and Mangalore.

We are hiring bar benders (also called rod benders, steel fixers or steel fitters) to cut, bend and tie reinforcement for footings, columns, beams and slabs. Individuals and bar bending teams are both welcome.

What you will do

• Cut and bend TMT steel to the bar bending schedule (BBS)
• Tie and fix reinforcement with correct spacing, cover blocks and laps
• Get reinforcement checked and approved before every pour
• Keep steel stacked and offcuts under control

What we look for

• Proven experience in bar bending on building sites
• Able to follow the BBS or the engineer's markings
• Able to work safely and wear PPE at all times
• Willing to work on our Hyderabad or Mangalore sites
• For our Mangalore sites: able to speak Tulu (Kannada also helps)

Good to have

• Your own bar bending team
• Villa or high-rise experience
