The Job
Painting at township scale.
Om Sree Gallaxy is one of the larger gated developments in north Hyderabad: 2,010 units across 20 blocks on the Kompally side of the Outer Ring Road. Valor Infra was contracted directly by the developer for the painting scope on four of those blocks, together with the podium parking areas: around 3 lakh square feet painted over about a year, with a crew of 30 under our own supervisors.
Work at this scale is less about painting than about sequencing. Four blocks means four programmes running against other agencies finishing flooring, electrical and joinery, and podium parking means working around access that the rest of the site still needs. Our job was to keep our stages moving without blocking anyone else, and without putting a coat on a surface that was not ready for it.

Podium Parking
Painting of podium parking areas, coordinated around access that the rest of the site continued to rely on.
Common Areas
Lobbies, staircases and corridors, sequenced so finished surfaces were not damaged by trades still working.
How We Ran It
Four blocks, one sequence.
A crew of 30 working across four block programmes for about a year, without holding up the trades around us.
Surface Handover
Defects recorded and closed with the developer before any coat was applied, block by block.
Sample Approval
Shade and finish approved on a sample area before bulk work started.
Stage Control
Putty, primer and finish coats signed off in order, never overlapped to save days.
Trade Coordination
Our programme run against the other agencies on site, so finished work stayed finished.
Site Safety
PPE, access checks at height and on the podium, and daily toolbox talks.
